Three years strong: food, music, and community connection
Milwaukee, Summer 2025 — Living Made Easy (LME) hosted its third annual Community Block Party, transforming the neighborhood into a joyful space filled with music, resources, and fun for all ages. What started as a small community gathering has grown into a beloved tradition that celebrates the spirit of connection and support at the heart of LME.
The day was filled with energy as DJ Mr. Martin kept the crowd moving with music that brought people to their feet. Families enjoyed free food, while children bounced between bounce houses and lined up for backpacks filled with school supplies, a gift to help them start the school year strong.
In addition to the fun, the block party also offered resource tables, giving attendees access to information and services to support health, family, and community well-being.
“This block party is our way of saying thank you and giving back,” shared Marthia Buford-Bell, LME owner. “For three years, we’ve come together in this space to celebrate, connect, and remind our neighbors that LME is about more than services , it’s about building community.”
As the sun set, the sounds of laughter, music, and connection lingered, a testament to LME’s ongoing commitment to care, family, and community joy.
